The new permanent exhibition, staged on 150 square metres, includes
over 4,000 items, photographs, and the archive material about victims
of the local concentration camp in the Second World War. It presents
not only the historical material but also some items and artefacts
that belonged to the camp's victims, so as to make visitors more aware
of the suffering of inmates in the camp.
The German ambassador said the project was offering new challenges,
and he positively assessed the new permanent exhibition and plans for
further activities of the memorial centre.
