Under the the law on cooperation with the ICTY, Kosovo's government
will be the key link for war crimes issues. Some MPs, however, warned
that the government had no possibilities for that given that it had
not set up a justice ministry, which is in the jurisdiction of the
international administration in Kosovo.
Serb MPs have been boycotting the parliament session since Wednesday
because of Albanian symbols in the halls of the recently redecorated
Kosovo parliament. The head of the Serb club of deputies sent a letter
to Parliament President Nexhat Daci explaining the boycott with the
fact that paintings in the parliament building showed only Albanian
history.
