BELGRADE, Feb 10 (Hina) - The coalition of the Serb Revival Movement and New Serbia parties will not be part of a minority government that would be supported by Slobodan Milosevic's Socialist Party of Serbia, the leader of the Serb Revival Movement, Vuk Draskovic, said on Tuesday.
BELGRADE, Feb 10 (Hina) - The coalition of the Serb Revival Movement and New Serbia parties will not be part of a minority government that would be supported by Slobodan Milosevic's Socialist Party of Serbia, the leader of the Serb Revival Movement, Vuk Draskovic, said on Tuesday.#L# "We can neither support nor be part of a government which is supported by the Socialist Party of Serbia with Milosevic at its helm," Draskovic told reporters after talks with the parliament president and acting president of Serbia, Dragan Marsicanin. Parliament president Marsicanin held consultations with the leaders of parties that make up the so-called democratic bloc on the establishment of the new government, after which he told reporters that the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), whose vice-president he is, still wanted to form a minority government. He said that by the end of this week or the beginning of next week it would be clear if forming the government was possible or if a new election would have to be called. After the talks with Marsicanin, Democratic Party (DS) vice-president Zoran Zivkovic said that "there is no party which would be willing to form a government with full potential, which would continue reforms". G17 leader Miroljub Labus said he supported a majority government of four democratic rosters, a not very likely option. He announced that his party would make its final decision on possible participation in the minority government that would be supported by Milosevic's Socialists, at a session of the party leadership on Saturday.
