duties.#L#
The next government session is due to take place in Split on February
3.
Government officials said unofficially that the proposal was prompted
by controversies over Cacija, the latest one being a media report that
he has refused for 18 years to pay alimony for his illegitimate son
despite a court ruling.
The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the
prime minister had earlier called for an investigation and requested
information from the Defence Ministry, the Interior Ministry and the
Military Academy in view of the contradictory information on Cacija's
status.
The sources also said that the Interior Minister had been instructed
to take all the necessary measures to protect the mother of Cacija's
illegitimate son following reports that she had received threats.
