The announced coalition between three parties from the democratic bloc
-- the DSS, G17 and the Serbian Renewal Party/New Serbia-- with
Milosevics party will be a historic moment, as the authorities will be
again set up in cooperation with the SPS after October 2000, Tadic
told a news conference.
The Democratic Party retains every right to topple such a government
in which SPS is participating," Tadis caid adding that this party
(formerly led by the assassinated Premier Zoran Djindjic) "fought
against the Milosevic regime for civilisation reasons".
The announcement of DSS Vice-President Dejan Mihajlov that he would
seek support from Milosevic's Socialists to elect the parliament
speaker and establish the new government "annuls all decisions of 5
October 2000," Tadic said adding that no responsibility for those
developments lie with his party.
