According to a press release from the Sabor's public relations office,
the committee's chairman, Neven Mimica, and the mission's head,
Ambassador Peter Semneby, discussed activities of the OSCE mission and
Croatia's efforts to join European integration processes.
Semneby said he viewed the OSCE mission as a partner to Croatia in its
bids to accomplish its fundamental objectives, including the return of
refugees, greater media freedom and human rights.
He and Mimica agreed that it was necessary for Croatia to solve war
crimes issues through the national judiciary.
The two sides voiced willingness to continue cooperating in other
sectors, too.
