ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Family, War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, and professors from the Demography Department of Zagreb's School of Economics
agreed on Monday to establish a Council for Population Policy within the ministry.
ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Family, War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity,
Jadranka Kosor, and professors from the Demography Department of
Zagreb's School of Economics agreed on Monday to establish a Council
for Population Policy within the ministry.#L#
Apart from demographers, the council would include representatives of
the church, trade unions and the media, Kosor said after the meeting.
She said the council's first task would be to prepare a population
policy based on domestic experience as well as that of countries with
similar demographic problems.
