SFOR spokesman Dave Sullivan told reporters in the afternoon the
operation was launched around 0130 hours today and was still under
way. This time, SFOR is searching a house in Breznik, an eastern
neighbourhood of Pale.
Sullivan said potential intelligence material had already been
collected and that the detailed search was continuing.
He confirmed the operation was part of continued efforts by Bosnian
authorities and SFOR against war criminals and those helping them, but
declined to be more specific about what type of building SFOR was
searching.
Bosnian Serb entity television has said the target of the latest SFOR
operation is Radovan Karadzic's old family house, which it claims is
abandoned, with only the housekeeper living in it. SFOR allegedly
interviewed the housekeeper about the last time Karadzic stayed in the
house and when he was last seen in Pale.
Bosnian Serb police are engaged in the SFOR operations.
