PRISTINA, Jan 5 (Hina) - The United States is planning to give financial assistance of 80 million dollars to Kosovo this year, the head of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Pristina, Marcie Ries, was quoted by the local 'Zeri' daily as
saying on Monday.

She said that Washington expected of Kosovo to fulfil international
standards, and expressed her support to local institutions' plans to
invest budgetary funds so as to enable displaced persons to return to
Kosovo.
