"I have not read Globus (weekly) and so far I have not received information that would confirm that," Sanader told reporters after the opening of a new building of the Croatian language institute.
The latest issue of Globus weekly ran an article headlined "Spy Conspiracy Against Prime Minister Sanader" which says that the Counter Intelligence Agency, as part of an operation aimed at locating and arresting runaways general Ante Gotovina and his helpers, has been systematically monitoring information indicating that two well-organised paramilitary units represented a serious threat to Prime Minister Sanader. The weekly also said that three intelligence agents have been sacked because of it.
Asked if Croatia was a safe country, the PM said that the security situation was good, adding that this was also the assessment of numerous Croatian guests and tourists.
