Addressing the professors and students of the faculty, as well as numerous guests, Sanader said that the globalisation process was both a challenge and a chance for Croatia. He said it was difficult to be competitive in the globalisation process, but added that this was not a reason to give up.
"We must respond with knowledge because we are not an economically powerful country, which is why the funds for education have been increased," he said.
