Addressing an election convention of the party's Osijek-Baranja County branch, Skare-Ozbolt said the DC would send the government and parliament a motion to set up a Croatia Fund which would give state-owned real estate and land into concession, thus generating revenue for Croatia.
She added this was an example of economic patriotism which should become a priority in state politics.
Vice president Josko Moric announced the DC would hold its tenth convention in Zagreb on December 10, pooling 2,000 delegates.
"We will give our opinion of the second half of the term of the coalition government we are part of, and define our priorities of national and social development, which are the continuation of the strengthening of the rule of law, faster economic development and economic regionalisation, with the ultimate goal being a balanced development of the country," said Moric.
