ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - The Croatian government will have to
consider about 320 amendments to the draft 2006 budget, which were moved mostly
by opposition members of parliament. Until 1200 hrs Thursday, when
the deadline expired for the submission of amendments to the government's
proposal of the state budget for next year, MPs suggested about 320 amendments
amounting to six billion kuna.
The government will mull the amendments on Monday, and the Sabor will
vote on the amendments and the draft budget on Tuesday.
