The meeting, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Family Affairs, War Veterans and Intergenerational Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, adopted a report on the implementation of priorities for the wellbeing of children from 2003 to 2005.
The Council also adopted a draft national plan for the period from 2006 to 2012, which provides for activities to be undertaken to improve the quality of life and position of children and to promote cooperation in implementing measures for the protection of children's rights at local levels.
