KRAPINA, Oct 16 (Hina) - The 1995 Dayton agreement ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina but did not bring peace, Bosnian President Ivo Miro Jovic said in Krapina, northern Croatia, on Sunday.

"The power-wielders at Dayton sewed our caps without having measured our heads, so that today Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state without precedent, a country with two entities and three peoples."

According to Jovic, Croats are not a constituent people in Bosnia because they are neglected at all levels of authority and are the only people in the country without their own medium.

Speaking of the current situation and prospects for Bosnian Croats, he said Bosnia and Herzegovina must reform its society and adapt to principles of contemporary Europe.

Jovic announced the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be established by December.

He also visited the biggest Marian shrine in Croatia at Marija Bistrica.
