The two ministers agreed that the automobile and pharmaceutical industries and information technology were the three basic areas for cooperation between Croatian and German businesses.
They tentatively arranged a meeting of Croatian business people with their colleagues from Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate for the first quarter of 2006.
Vukelic supported Georgi's proposal that Croatian expatriates living in the two German states should also be invited to the meeting and that they should join all professional business associations, according to a statement from the Croatian Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship.
