During his visit to Estonia where he will travel after he paid an official visit to Lithuania last Friday (4 November), Sanader will hold talks with his Estonian counterpart Andrus Ansip as well as with Estonian President Arnold Rueuetel and Parliament Speaker Ene Ergma.
Main topics of the talks, scheduled for Tuesday, are bilateral relations and Estonia's experience from accession into the European Union and NATO.
Sanader is to visit another Baltic country Latvia this December.
All the three Baltic countries, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, fully support Croatia's efforts to join the European Union.
The prime ministers of the said countries held a session of the Baltic Council on 28 September this year at which they adopted conclusions referring to the support to the start of Croatia's entry talks with the European bloc.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were admitted into the EU and NATO in 2004.
Although Croatia and Estonia have very good political relations, their economic cooperation is modest.
In the first eight months this year, the trade between the two countries came to 4.84 million US dollars, with Estonia's exports to Croatia totalling 3.80 million US dollars, and Croatia's exports to that country amounting to 1.04 million dollars.
Croatia and Lithuania also have very good political relations, which was confirmed at the talks which Sanader held in Vilnius with Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, Prime Minister Algirdas Brazauskas, Parliament Speaker Arturas Paulauskas and other officials last Friday.
The trade between Croatia and Lithuania totalled 10.6 million US dollars in the first eight months this year when Lithuanian exports to Croatia came to 6.9 million and Croatian exports to that Baltic country were 3.7 million US dollars.
