The initiative, which covers Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland, was established at Austria's proposal in 1998. Croatia joined it in 2002 and has chaired it since January 1 this year.
Speaking to reporters, Roncevic said there was a possibility for some 30 Croatian soldiers to participate in the UNDOF Mission in the Golan Heights as part of the Austrian-Slovak contingent, the matter he discussed yesterday with his Austrian counterpart Guenther Platter.
Roncevic said that he and Platter also discussed Croatia's new position following the start of talks on membership in the European Union.
