The photograph shows the mother of a Srebrenica victim visiting the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam in 2004.
The president of the Zagreb Jewish Community, Ognjen Kraus, said nationality and religion should be put aside in working together so that tragedies such as the Holocaust and Srebrenica did not recur every again.
The chairman of Zagreb's Bosniak Minority Council, Tarik Kulenovic, said Samarah's photograph spoke more than a thousand words and would always remind one of the evil that happened to the Jewish and Bosniak peoples.
The exhibition was organised by the Zagreb Jewish Community and Zagreb's Bosniak Minority Council.
