The Russian delegation said the interest in their country in having ships built in Croatia was great and that cooperation was already under way in the shipbuilding sector.
The "Baltic Institute" is one of the biggest Russian shipyards building merchant and military ships, "Rosmorport" develops and maintains Russian ports, and "Sudoimport" provides agent services.
Eleven producers of ship equipment from the two Croatian counties acquainted the Russian delegation with their products.
The Russian business people held talks with representatives of the Croatian Chamber of the Economy's industry sector in Zagreb, Karlovac and Rijeka. They are also scheduled to visit the Rijeka-based shipyard "3. maj" today.
