The project was launched in 2002 by renowned Croatian designer Boris Ljubicic with an aim of encouraging designers to offer the best graphic design solutions for an integrated Europe.
This year, an international jury chaired by French designer Pierre Bernard decided that the winner of the latest competition was Croatian designer Alenka Lalic. The second prize went to Austrian designer Angie Rattay, and the third prize to Croatian designers Nebojsa Ugljesic and Marko Cizmesinkin.
The laureates were selected among 37 designers from 11 countries who sent 56 works after tenders were called from 13 April to 4 July 2005.
An exhibition of these works will officially be opened in the Croatian Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb this evening.
