This year's inflation rate thus again rose to above three percent after it was below three percent in May and June. The annual inflation rate in May was 2.8 percent, in June 2.9 percent, in April 3.5 percent and in March 3.9 percent.
The prices of food and nonalcoholic drinks and the prices of clothing and footwear contributed the most to the drop in the index of consumer prices in July in relation to the month before.
The growth of prices in July was cushioned by lower prices of clothing and footwear, which dropped by 4.2 percent in relation to June, while the prices of food and nonalcoholic drinks dropped by 1.4 percent.
The prices of education saw the highest increase in July (4.7 percent), while the prices of transport rose by 2.5 percent, with the prices of petrol and lubricants for personal vehicles going up by five percent.
