The Czech were the most numerous among the fatalities, with 14 dead.
Forty-seven foreigners died in accidents or by natural death, whereas last summer they were 42.
This summer, from June 1 to August 9, 12 foreigners died by drowning, while last summer the drowning deaths were eight.
This summer four foreigners died in traffic accidents, down from the nine victims in the summer of 2004.
Ten foreigners died in other ways.
The Czech Foreign Ministry yesterday said that 14 Czech citizens died in Croatia this year and that two were considered missing.
The ministry also cautioned its citizens to be careful while vacationing in Croatia and called on them to strictly respect instructions from the Croatian authorities.
