ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - The average wage per hour paid to employees inCroatian companies in May this year came to 24.24 kuna, which was by1.6 percent lower than the average hourly wage in April and by 2.3percent higher than in May last
year, the Central Bureau of Statisticsreported on Tuesday.

in Croatian companies in May this year came to 24.24 kuna, which was by 1.6
percent lower than the average hourly wage in April and by 2.3 percent higher
than in May last year, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on
Tuesday. This May had 179 paid hours, which was by 4.1 percent more
than in April this year.
The highest hourly wage of 48.73 kuna was paid in the air traffic
sector. The second highest hourly wage in May was in the research and
development sector (36.26 kuna). The lowest hourly wage, of 12.44 kuna, was
paid to workers in the leather processing industry.
