Operational revenue amounted to 1.16 billion kuna, up 2.3 per cent from the first six months of 2004.
The Adris Group generated 944 million kuna in revenue from tobacco, an increase of 2.5 per cent, and 358 million kuna in operational profit.
The company said that construction on a new factory in Kanfanar worth more than EUR100 million was proceeding as planned, and that relocation would start on 5 September this year and end on 30 June 2006.
Revenue generated from tourism was 179.9 million kuna, up 1.4 per cent from the first half of 2004.
This year 300 million kuna will be invested in view of improving the tourist offer.
