The message with congratulations reads that this feat "presented the most important moment in the recent Croatian history".
That victory of the Croatian Armed Forces which Jovic describes as colossal "contributed to the final defeat of the aggressor and also accelerated the completion of military operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina".
The Bosnian presidency chairman wrote that a considerable number of citizens from his country took part in that operation " which forever thwarted (Slobodan) Milosevic's project of establishing Serbia at the line Karlobag-Karlovac-Virovitica", Jovic said alluding to an imagined north-western border of a greater Serbia.
