According to figures from the organisation's General Secretariat in Lyon, France, about 4 million vehicles around the world are currently registered as stolen.
Biser said that about 500 vehicles stolen abroad had been found in Bosnia-Herzegovina last year and all had been sent back to their owners. He estimated the overall value of those vehicles at three million euros.
Most of the vehicles found in Bosnia-Herzegovina were stolen in Germany, Croatia, Slovenia and the Scandinavian countries, Biser said.
