MOTOVUN, July 29 (Hina) - The seventh annual international Motovun
Film Festival ended in the Istrian town of Motovun on Friday with an
award-giving ceremony, with the main award, the Motovun Propeller, going to the
Romanian film "Mr. Lazarescu's Death" by Cristi Puiu. Puiu's film
yesterday received an Amnesty International award.
The Fipresci international association of film critics' award went to
the Danish film "Day Night" by Simon Staho.
This year's festival featured about 80 films and is estimated to have
been visited by some 25,000 over its five-day duration.
