The head of the petition organising committee, Nikica Tomic, said copies of the petition and signatures would be forwarded to the office of the international community's High Representative in Sarajevo, the Peace Implementation Council, the European Commission's Delegation in Bosnia, the European Parliament, the United Nations and political protagonists in the country.
The last general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at which Bosniaks (Muslims) decided on the Croat member of the country's tripartite presidency, and attempts to ignore the will of the Croat people during the formation of the future executive authorities bear proof of the inequality of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tomic said, adding that one could no longer tolerate Croats being deprived of their rights.
The signature-collecting drive was held from 10 to 25 February.
