Speaking to reporters, Branimir Glavas of the HDZ said that the two parties' platforms were similar in many aspects and that the HDZ would have a reliable partner in the HSLS.
Glavas said that the cooperation between the two parties would be defined with an agreement and that most probably he would head the coalition's lists of candidates at the county level and in the city of Osijek.
Asked about a possible coalition with the Democratic Centre (DC), Glavas said that he had held two meetings with DC leader Vesna Skare Ozbolt and that a pre- or post-election coalition was possible, but that the HDZ would respect the HSLS's position on the possible enlargement of the coalition.
