Citing a reliable source in the Bosnian intelligence agency OSA, the newspaper said that Mladic had arrived in Pancevo recently, after hiding in the vicinity of Niksic, Montenegro.
One of the most wanted fugitives sought by the Hague war crimes tribunal is reportedly hiding in the former operational headquarters of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro and is being protected by three persons, including an active-duty army officer.
Dnevni Avaz claims that Mladic is being protected by Dragan Lalovic, Aleksandar Vukovic and army serviceman Milenko Avram as well as by a military police special unit.
The OSA source told the newspaper that Mladic's presence in Pancevo had probably prompted Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic to state earlier this week that Mladic was hiding with the assistance of the Serbian intelligence service.
