The Bosnian Catholic press agency KTA reported that Puljic extended special thanks to Bosnia's Serb Orthodox bishop Nikolaj for his attendance.
In his sermon, Puljic spoke about the Pope's life and his two visits to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Msgr. Ciro Bovenzi, advisor with the apostolic nunciature in Sarajevo, conveyed the gratitude of the apostolic nuncio to Bosnia, Msgr. Santos Abril y Castello, to the Bosnian Catholic Church and all who had shown sympathy in the last days of the Pope's life on earth.
