The Cavtat session polled representatives of countries through which the corridor passes: Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia-Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania and Greece.
The working group for this corridor is trying to enhance its competitiveness, remove barriers, stimulate economic development and contribute to political stability of that part of Europe, said the State Secretary in the Croatian Transport Ministry, Drazen Breglec.
Croatia is in a very good position. It has so far constructed over 90 percent of its section of the corridor and the remaining stretches towards Slovenia and Serbia will be built until 2007, he said.
