We shall not let anybody bring into question democratic standards and stability which Croatia has so far reached, Sanader said responding to a question by Social Democrat member of parliament Nenad Stazic who asked Sanader to comment on Condic's statement.
The premier said that credit went to Condic for his contribution in the defence of Croatia during the Homeland Defence War. However, Condic's political work is disputable, Sanader added.
Stazic expressed satisfaction with Sanader's answer and asked the PM to order intelligence services to hold an interview with Condic.
Announcing his plans to establish a new political party, Colonel Condic, who is a disabled war veteran, has recently said that such party would have a military wing. Later he explained that he did not refer to the military formations within the party but to the party's segment which should tackle problems of war veterans.
Responding to a question posed by SDP MP Zeljko Kurtov whether the Government would allow EU member countries to fish in Croatia's territorial waters in 2006, Sanader resolutely ruled out such a possibility.
There are no negotiations with the European Union in that sense, the PM said.
