parliamentary benches.
ZAGREB, Feb 23 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament resumed its 12th
session on Wednesday with a debate on the final bill of amendments to the law
on professional rehabilitation and hiring of people with a disability,
supported by all parliamentary benches.The amendments foresee the implementation of a fund for professional
rehabilitation and the hiring of disabled people, as a permanent source of
financing for the integration of disabled people into the labour market.
The amendments were supported by all parties. MPs expressed belief that
the new regulations would improve the position of disabled people in the labour
and employment system.
