ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - Croatian Bloc leader Ivic Pasalic has said
the government is trying to "create hysteria" in connection with the date of
Croatia's EU entry talks in an attempt to disguise its incapability to solve
political and economic problems at home.Speaking to the press in Zagreb on Saturday, he was commenting on Prime
Minister Ivo Sanader's statement that delay of talks on European Union
membership might strengthen radicalism and anti-European forces in Croatia.
Pasalic said Euroscepticism did not imply anti-European radicalism.
"If the government were doing its job, whether the EU entry negotiations
started a few months earlier or later would be insignificant," he said.
