ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - Changes in the government will be this week's central topic in parliament which is scheduled to resume its 12th session on Wednesday.

Parliament should okay new government members - deputy prime minister Damir Polancec and Health Minister Neven Ljubicic, and allow European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitaroic to take over also the Foreign Ministry portfolio.

To make this formally possible, parliament will have to adopt the government-sponsored amendments to the law on the organisation and jurisdiction in urgent procedure.

MP are expected to debate the law as early as tomorrow afternoon and discuss the new government members most probably on Thursday.

The changes in the government are the result of the resignation of Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul and Health Minister Andrija Hebrang's illness.

Tomorrow's session is expected to resume with a debate on a bill of the national consumer protection programme. The agenda for now does not include a debate on a draft national programme of the protection and promotion of human rights in Croatia for the 2005-2008 period. The government has withdrawn the draft due to criticism from the ranks of the Opposition.
