Sanader, who was accompanied by Economy Minister Branko Vukelic, Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and Croatian business people, met his Jordanian counterpart and host Faisal al-Fayez and King Abdullah II.
Before leaving Jordan for Rome on Monday morning, Sanader visited the Dead Sea. He also visited the place on the River Jordan where Jesus Christ is said to have been baptised, and Mount Nebo, the legendary place of the death of Moses the Prophet.
In the Vatican Sanader will meet Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the state secretary of the Holy See, and will be received for an audience by Pope John Paul II.
On Tuesday Sanader will attend the opening of the exhibition "L'augusteum di Narona".
