Addressing reporters after the meeting, al-Fayez said that more frequent contacts between the two countries would result in better economic relations.
Prime Minister Sanader too called for intensifying contacts and bilateral trade, which is the reason why Sanader was accompanied by more than 20 leading business people from Croatia.
The two sides today signed a number of agreements which are expected to facilitate trade relations.
"What is important now is better cooperation between private sectors in Croatia and Jordan," al-Fayez said.
Before his visit to the Jordanian government and the meeting with his host, Sanader visited a police training centre in Amman.
He also attended a lunch with King Abdullah II. This evening Sanader will attend the opening of an exhibition of contemporary Croatian drawings.
