The two officials discussed cooperation between the HDZ and the US Republican Party and the governments of Croatia and the United States, the Croatian Embassy in Washington said in a statement.
Craner welcomed Croatia's progress in the process of democratisation and promotion of ethnic tolerance, including programmes promoting reconciliation, as well as the country's integration into the European Union and NATO.
Biskupic and Croatia's Ambassador to the USA, Neven Jurica, yesterday morning attended a prayer breakfast which was also attended by US President George W. Bush.
Biskupic is on a visit to the United States where he will stay until February 9.
