'Tragom hrvatskim'. The procedure willmost likely continue before the district court.
SUBOTICA, Feb 10 (Hina) - The municipal court in the northern Serbian
city of Novi Sad has proclaimed itself not competent to tackle a suit which
Novi Sad Television lodged against the editor and producer of the
Croatian-language TV show 'Tragom hrvatskim'. The procedure will most likely
continue before the district court."The (municipal) court has upheld the objection of our lawyer that the
case does not fall within its jurisdiction," the editor Dusica Dulic told Hina
after the first hearing held on Thursday.
Novi Sad Radio and Television sued the show's producer and editor after
they criticised the TV network when last year it did not air one 30-minute
'Tragom hrvatskim', a show which it had broadcast since 2001.
Croatia's Consul-General to Subotica, Davor Vidis, as well as several
reporters attended today's hearing.
