Jandrokovic told Estonian officials that Croatian citizens had given large support to the country's admission into the EU at first, but that the support gradually waned due to some EU standpoints regarding the issue of aggression against Croatia, but stressed that over 50 percent of the country's population were still in favour of Croatia's EU membership.
Croatia expects that the EU membership would increase the country's economic growth and improve its social sector, while NATO membership should bring Croatia security and stability, Jandrokovic said. The talks also focused on the issue of national minorities in Croatia and Estonia.
According to the statement, the Estonian parliamentarians were also received by the chairman of the Committee on Inter-parliamentary cooperation, Milorad Pupovac.
