The book, entitled "Svjedocim" (I Testify), is the first part of a trilogy in which Plavsic wants to state the truth about the fateful events in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the period between 1990 and 1997, from the establishment of the Serb Democratic Party to Plavsic's decision to remove from authorities all staff that was loyal to an indictee of the UN war crimes tribunal and then president of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadzic.
The manuscript of the book was brought from the Hinseberg prison in Sweden, where Plavsic is serving her sentence, by Milorad Dodik, and was published by "Nezavisne novine".
"In this book Biljana Plavsic is not debating with the Hague tribunal, she is not making accusations, she is only stating the truth about the so-called heroes Karadzic, (Momcilo) Krajisnik, General Ratko Mladic, and the Serb people must finally learn that truth," Dodik said.
