VIENNA, Jan 13 (Hina) - The latest developments in the world require OSCE reforms, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said before the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Permanent Council in Vienna on Thursday.

Slovenia took over the OSCE chairmanship at the start of 2005.

Security, peace and struggle against terrorism, illegal migrations, people trafficking and all other forms of crime will be priorities of Slovenia's chairmanship over the OSCE, Rupel said.

He called on all 55 OSCE members to implement the organisation's fundamental principles in order to achieve the best possible results.

The new OSCE chairman hailed the work of OSCE missions and said that the OSCE was playing a key role in Kosovo.
