The conference, organised by the Austrian People's Party (OeVP), is one of the events with which Austria is this year marking the 60th anniversary of the Second Austrian Republic, the 50th anniversary of the conclusion of the State Treaty and the 10th anniversary of the country's membership in the European Union.
