She gave this statement in the context of last week's resignation tendered by a senior HNS official, Srecko Ferencak, amid a scandal involving the sale of building land in Zagreb. Ferencak was in the Zagreb City Council, while Bandic is deputy mayor. The two parties are currently in power in the Croatian capital. The next local elections are expected in April or May.
