ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The Croatian True Revival party (HIP) said in astatement on Tuesday that it will call on its members and sympathisersto vote for the Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) presidentialcandidate, Jadranka Kosor, if she decided to promote the patrioticpolitical option and not only act as the candidate of one party.
ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The Croatian True Revival party (HIP) said in a statement on Tuesday that it will call on its members and sympathisers to vote for the Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) presidential candidate, Jadranka Kosor, if she decided to promote the patriotic political option and not only act as the candidate of one party.

The chief of this nonparliamentary party, Miroslav Tudjman, told Hina that HIP requested of Kosor to clearly distance herself from the left option, namely from the parties which supported the candidacy of the incumbent president, Stjepan Mesic.

"It is necessary that (Kosor) distances herself (from those parties), considering that the HDZ and the Social Democratic Party are drawing closer to one another," Tudjman said and added that Kosor should personally request the support of right parties.
