The Committee is gathering requests of representatives of national minorities active in this northern Adriatic city, including the one requesting that the Serb minority in Rijeka be given the status of a native minority, that a Serb representative be given a seat in the City Council and that a representative of national minorities be appointed deputy president of the City Council.
