No one in Sellotape war crimes case is on hunger strike any more

OSIJEK, Dec 12 (Hina) - Mirko Sivic, one of the defendants in the so-called Sellotape war crimes case, on Tuesday ended a hunger strike he had begun on November 20, Osijek County Court spokesman Miroslav Rozac said in a statement.
OSIJEK, Dec 12 (Hina) - Mirko Sivic, one of the defendants in the so-called Sellotape war crimes case, on Tuesday ended a hunger strike he had begun on November 20, Osijek County Court spokesman Miroslav Rozac said in a statement.

Sivic has begun taking prison food and is under medical supervision, Rozac said, adding that now no defendant in the Sellotape case was on hunger strike after Gordana Getos-Magic stopped hers yesterday.

Rozac said that more witnesses had been heard in the case today.

Investigating Judge Mario Kovac has still not decided about Branimir Glavas's attorney's request that the investigation of the Sellotape case be suspended for the same reasons the so-called garage case was suspended, another case referring to the murders of civilians in 1991.

Glavas is an independent member of parliament accused in both cases who last week ended his 37-day hunger strike.
