The two officials exchanged views on the fight against economic crimes, drugs smuggling and trafficking in humans, and agreed future forms of cooperation, the Serbian Interior Ministry said in a press release.
The two ministers highlighted the importance of a swift exchange of information between the two police forces.
Given that the Serbian police recently replaced the army on the border, Kirin and Jocic also talked about the transfer of Croatian experiences to Serbia's border police and about the establishment of cooperation points on the border so as to more effectively combat crime, said the Croatian Interior Ministry.
Kirin and Croatian police chief Marijan Benko visited Belgrade at the invitation of Jocic and Serbian police chief Milorad Veljovic.
